A talented colleague visitor

The new year 3 jan starts good this morning a met our colleague Marc Lagrange a extremely talented fine art photographer from Antwerp Belgium, I knew the name not the face as I spent living in Holland weekly my free time in Antwerp for more than 20 years felt home there. As I say we never met but seeing his smiling face sowing his new treasure the new monochrome M leica, with excitement of a performer of the photography art can do he show me some results of a morning walk through stone town with my friend Haji the best guide stone town have. You understand that a the new gear come to us by the net or our visitors carrying it round there neck. So I was surprised to see one now. And shots with high ISO setting Marc told me from his new coming fifth book in a couple months and his new M leica coming next month. As you all know we are looking for refreshment for our nikon’s leica or fujifilm or sony we will make the decision soon. Living the african life

Well what can I say yes its been time, time to sit and tell you about what we do here in zanzibar, I was waiting for great news to tell you all. But the african life took over the daily rhythm working in our gallery. make it better, new work, new print technique, new workshops, new place ,new postcards, new gallery in other city in tanzania, new camera’s, new busara  music festival in stone town pics, new rain pics, new yet to come ziff film festival preparation, new to come jazz poetry festival, many talks with many people on the net and in the gallery. But mostly I was working with my friend C on a new to start project for a mobile phone company, they thinking about it. SO THERE IS TIME TO DO THIS . Soon the new newsletter will come with a lot of NEW things to tell you.

There were some thoughts also, my friend C recovers after being beat up very badly, he recovers in europe and visit good hospitals.  Its going good with him I end this post who will go to facebook and twitter to, with the reply on an email he sent yesterday to me.

Hope the two of you going well.

I read in your last mail you visit Auschwitz I understand even, I have never been there how you felt be so close by the horror human beings do to each other unbelievable. What is even more unbelievable that the human race is not capable to learn lessons from monuments like that, still today the horror is been done to each other in many wars. All times with no reason. It seems the guiding done by enlightened men in history and still today become the live proposal from millions, who do understand the words they read and live an empty live. Its sad to see on a lower scale in this society here more and more, living the African live where the additive being corrupt and be proud of it and living the lower life of the ego is the way to go. Maybe living life is not, in the growing of groups or religions but a voyage from the person alone by himself  like Jesus and the Buddha told there followers you find god inside you, not in a house from rocks or wood. I will go on learn only to look on living the african life of this society not fight it anymore.

famous NYC internet photomagazine shows TBE

The British journal of Photography published a list with 10 of the most interesting photomagazines on the net.  One of them aCurator located in NYC  bring this week a presentation of the beautiful eyes. We feel great about their choice to present us here.
